phir bhī dil meñ koī malāl nahīñ
ho ga.e zaḳhm is qadar mānūs
koī tadbīr-e-indimāl nahīñ
shikva-e-dil meñ raat biit ga.ī
hijr se kam tirā visāl nahīñ
ab zarā der ko Thahar jaao
ab sitāroñ kī vaisī chaal nahīñ
laakh tamsīleñ isti.āre hoñ
phir bhī terī koī misāl nahīñ
zabt hai dīdanī suḳhan merā
mire chehre pe ishti.āl nahīñ

lakh tamsilen istiare hon
phir bhi teri koi misal nahin
zabt hai didani suKHan mera
mere chehre pe ishtial nahin
