کورے کاغذ پہ مرا نقش اتارے کوئی
ایک مبہم سا میں خاکہ ہوں ابھارے کوئی
ناخدا بھی تو مرے کام یہاں آ نہ سکا
اور پار اترا ہے لہروں کے سہارے کوئی
ایک مدت سے خموشی ہی خموشی ہے وہاں
چپ کے صحرا میں مرا نام پکارے کوئی
اس جہاں میں تو سبھی دست نگر ہیں شاہدؔ
سامنے کس کے یہاں ہاتھ پسارے کوئی
