کہہ کچھ بہتے پانی کہہ
شہر کے شور سے بھاگا ہوں
مجھ سے کچھ ویرانی کہہ
ٹک ٹک دیکھا کرتی ہے
کہہ کچھ گڑیاں رانی کہہ
کچھ تو ہو احساس نیا
کوئی بات پرانی کہہ
کہاں کہاں بھٹکائے گا
تو اسے دانہ پانی کہہ
میرا بھی چھٹکارا ہو
جو ہے دل میں ٹھانی کہہ
اتنا تو کر اے تاثیرؔ
مشکل کو آسانی کہہ
