kyon nigah-e-rahm ki tu ne dil-e-nakaam par
kyoñ nigāh-e-rahm kī tū ne dil-e-nākām par
ik manzar yaas kā thā vo bhī vīrāñ ho gayā
kal tamanna par tirī sadqe kiye the do jahāñ
aaj dil terī tamanna par pashemāñ ho gayā
allah allah kufr-e-ulfat ke yaqīñ kī vus.ateñ
jo ḳhayāl aaya mire dil meñ vo īmāñ ho gayā
baḌh ga.ī ḳhuddārī-e-sā.il tire inkār se
ḳhud tirā dast-e-karam ab merā dāmāñ ho gayā

kal tamanna par teri sadqe kiye the do jahan
aaj dil teri tamanna par pasheman ho gaya
allah allah kufr-e-ulfat ke yaqin ki wusaten
jo KHayal aaya mere dil mein wo iman ho gaya
baDh gai KHuddari-e-sail tere inkar se
KHud tera dast-e-karam ab mera daman ho gaya
