مکان دل میں تو مسند نشیں ہے
منور تجھ سے سب روئے زمیں ہے
کوئی کعبہ میں اور کوئی دیر میں جا
خلائق ڈھونڈھتی ہر ہر کہیں ہے
یہ دل نے ایسی کچھ پائی ہے وسعت
کہ جس کے آگے پست عرش بریں ہے
جو نا بینا ہو دن کو رات جانے
بھلا سورج تو پوشیدہ نہیں ہے
مثال شمع خوش جلتا ہے خاموشؔ
تری محفل میں جاں تو ہے وہیں ہے
