jī meñ hai dikhā diije yak roz tire qad ko
jo shaḳhs ki munkir haiñ ai yaar qayāmat ke
kahtā huuñ ġhalat tujh se maiñ dil ko chhuḌā.ūñgā
chhuTte haiñ kahīñ pyāre bāñdhe hue ulfat ke
qasr-o-mahal-e-mun.im tujh ko hī mubārak hoñ
baiThe haiñ ham āsūda goshe meñ qanā.at ke
bedār chhupā.e se chhupte haiñ koī tere
chehre se numāyāñ haiñ āsār mohabbat ke

jo shaKHs ki munkir hain ai yar qayamat ke
kahta hun ghalat tujh se main dil ko chhuDaunga
chhuTte hain kahin pyare bandhe hue ulfat ke
qasr-o-mahal-e-munim tujh ko hi mubarak hon
baiThe hain hum aasuda goshe mein qanaat ke
bedar chhupae se chhupte hain koi tere
chehre se numayan hain aasar mohabbat ke
