عمر اپنی تمام کرتا رہا
پہلے لکھی غزل محبت کو
اور پھر اس کو عام کرتا رہا
ایک تنہائی بس گئی دل میں
اور میں اس میں قیام کرتا رہا
میں نے جو کچھ کمایا الفت میں
وہ بس اک تیرے نام کرتا رہا
