phir in māsūm nazroñ ko pashīmāñ kaun dekhegā
bajā hai laala o gul kī tabāhī kā tasavvur bhī
magar ye manzar-e-mahshar-ba-dāmāñ kaun dekhegā
mujhe taslīm hai qaid-e-qafas se maut behtar hai
nasheman par hujūm-e-barq-o-bārāñ kaun dekhegā
hasīñ tābīr-e-mustaqbil sahī is kī magar 'anvar'
na.e fitnoñ kā ab ḳhvāb-e-pareshāñ kaun dekhegā
