نئے خوابوں سے ڈر لگنے لگا ہے
یہ رستہ پر خطر لگنے لگا ہے
یہ کیسا دور آیا بے حسی کا
مجھے زندان گھر لگنے لگا ہے
بچھڑ جائے گا تو مجھ سے کسی دن
نہ لگتا تھا مگر لگنے لگا ہے
ذرا دیکھو مری سادہ طبیعت
کہ قاتل چارہ گر لگنے لگا ہے
سفر میں ہم سفر تم کیا ہوئے ہو
سفر اب مختصر لگنے لگا ہے
خلیلؔ اس سے تمہیں نفرت تھی لیکن
تمہیں کیوں معتبر لگنے لگا ہے
