پنکھ ہوتے کہیں اڑی چڑیا
پھر نہ پیچھے کبھی مڑی چڑیا
قید خانے میں کلبلاتی تھی
اب تو آکاش سے جڑی چڑیا
کوئی چھپتا نہ اس کی نظروں سے
خوب چالاک ہے بڑی چڑیا
ناز اس پر کسے نہیں ہوگا
جب حفاظت میں ہے کھڑی چڑیا
