फिर नग़्मा-रेज़ अब्र-ए-बहाराँ है आज-कल
फिर चाक-ए-दिल ब-क़द्र-ए-गरेबाँ है आज-कल
रंगीनी-ए-बहार का अल्लाह रे फ़ुसूँ
साज़-ए-दिल-ए-शिकस्ता ग़ज़ल-ख़्वाँ है आज-कल
फिर मैं हूँ और महफ़िल-ए-जानाँ की आरज़ू
फिर मेहरबाँ सियासत-ए-दरबाँ है आज-कल
वो सज्दा जो बहाए दो-आलम से है गराँ
मेरी जबीन-ए-शौक़ में ग़लताँ है आज-कल
ये अब्र ये हवा ये बरसती हुई शराब
काफ़िर है सख़्त वो जो मुसलमाँ है आज-कल
साक़ी ने वा किया दर-ए-मय-ख़ाना-ए-हयात
फ़ितरत की चश्म-ए-मेहर पशेमाँ है आज-कल
मैं और दौर-ए-साग़र-ओ-मीना है इन दिनों
आँखें हैं और तसव्वुर-ए-जानाँ है आज-कल
पहले भी इत्र-बेज़ नसीम-ए-बहार थी
किस की शमीम-ए-ज़ुल्फ़ परेशाँ है आज-कल
भाती नहीं है दिल को किसी साज़ की सदा
नग़्मों का हर-नफ़स में वो तूफ़ाँ है आज-कल
ज़ोलीदगी न पूछ फ़ज़ाओं में हम-नशीं
ख़ुश्बू-ए-ज़ुल्फ़-ए-दोस्त परेशाँ है आज-कल
हर जल्वा-ए-हयात ब-क़द्र-ए-निशात-ओ-रंग
मिन्नत-कश-ए-तबस्सुम-ए-जानाँ है आज-कल
ऐ रूह-ए-दर्द-ओ-शाद ये तेरा ही फ़ैज़ है
'जौहर' जो इस अदा से ग़ज़ल-ख़्वाँ है आज-कल
