پھول امید کے کھلا نہ سکا
چاہ کر بھی بہار لا نہ سکا
بد نصیبی میں زیست گزری ہے
زیست سکھ سے کبھی سجا نہ سکا
مجھ کو کانہا کی مرلی بننا تھا
وقت رادھا مجھے بنا نہ سکا
حوصلے دل میں اتنے سارے تھے
دن مصیبت کا بھی ڈرا نہ سکا
