pur-kaif bahāroñ ne bhī dil toḌ diyā hai
haañ un ke nazāroñ ne bhī dil toḌ diyā hai
tūfān kā sheva to hai kashtī ko Dubonā
ḳhāmosh kināroñ ne bhī dil toḌ diyā hai
is Dūbte sūraj se to ummīd hī kyā thī
hañs hañs ke sitāroñ ne bhī dil toḌ diyā hai
kis tarah kareñ tujh se gila tere sitam kā
mad.hosh ishāroñ ne bhī dil toḌ diyā hai
maanā ki thī ġhamgīn kalī ḳhauf-e-ḳhizāñ se
chup rah ke bahāroñ ne bhī dil toḌ diyā hai
aġhyār kā shikva nahīñ is ahd-e-havas meñ
ik umr ke yāroñ ne bhī dil toḌ diyā hai
ye daur-e-mohabbat bhī ajab daur hai is meñ
ai 'naqsh' sahāroñ ne bhī dil toḌ diyā hai
