pure chand ki raat bhi ho
puure chāñd kī raat bhī ho
haat meñ terā haat bhī ho
jab maiñ bolūñ mahfil meñ
chup se behtar baat bhī ho
ishq ho apnī zaat to phir
us meñ kyūñkar maat bhī ho
sab kuchh tere bas meñ kab
marhūn-e-hālāt bhī ho
chāhat hai us kī buniyād
ḳhvāh koī sauġhāt bhī ho
safar ho jab tanhā.ī kā
umr se lambī raat bhī ho
dast-e-duā ke saath 'āmir'
āñkhoñ se barsāt bhī ho
