پیاس بکھری ہوئی ہے بستی میں
اور سمندر ہے اپنی مستی میں
کتنا نیچے گرا لیا خود کو
آپ نے شخصیت پرستی میں
کیوں کریں ہم ضمیر کا سودا
ہم بہت خوش ہیں فاقہ مستی میں
کل بلندی پہ آ بھی سکتے ہیں
یہ جو بیٹھے ہیں آج پستی میں
صوفیانہ مزاج ہے اپنا
مست رہتے ہیں اپنی مستی میں
