piyā ke nayan meñ bahut chhand hai
o vū zulf meñ jiiv kā ānand hai
sajan yuuñ miThā.ī suuñ bole bachan
ki us ḳhush bachan meñ lazat qand hai
mohan ke o do gaal tashbīh meñ
suraj ek duujā so juuñ chand hai
naval mukh suhe husn kā phūlban
nayan mrig hor zulf us phañd hai
uu kisvat the jiiv baas mahke sadā
tū uu baas nāriyāñ kā dil-band hai
piyā kuuñ bulā liyā.e huuñ ap mandir
dutan man meñ us the haman dañd hai
nabī sadqe 'qubtā' kuuñ ap sej lyaa.ī
to chauñdhar ḳhushyāñ hor ānand hai
