rahegī yaad ye fasl-e-bahār ham-nafaso
kiyā hai raqs sar-e-nok-e-ḳhār ham-nafaso
ye maslahat kā taqāzā ki sar jhukā ke chaleñ
pukārtā hai junūñ sū-e-dār ham-nafaso
baḌhe chalo ki abhī duur hai maqām-e-junūñ
kahāñ ruke ho sar-e-rahguzār ham-nafaso
ye kis ne aag lagā.ī hai aaj paanī meñ
qabā-e-zohd bhī hai taar taar ham-nafaso

qaba-e-zohd bhi hai tar tar ham-nafaso
