رہنا ہر دم بجھا بجھا سا کچھ
رہنا ہر دم بجھا بجھا سا کچھ
ہو گیا دل کا مشغلہ سا کچھ
تیری زلفوں کا میری وحشت کا
ملتا جلتا ہے سلسلہ سا کچھ
ہم سے ملنے کو اک زمانہ ملا
تیرا ملنا تھا سانحہ سا کچھ
ایسا اجڑا صنم کدہ دل کا
ہو گیا خانۂ خدا سا کچھ
دل کے صحرا میں آ نکلتا ہے
اب بھی کوئی گریز پا سا کچھ
لطف دیوانگی نہیں آیا
بزم میں لوگ تھے شناسا کچھ
