ساکنان شہر غم آباد ہو
کشتۂ تیغ ستم آباد ہو
اے نمو داری کے دشمن کم نما
آئنے پہ کچھ کرم آباد ہو
بھولنے والے کے سنگی تیری خیر
طاق نسیاں ربط کم آباد ہو
اس نے پوچھا اور خود بھی رو پڑا
اے جہان من دلم آباد ہو
آسماں کی خیر ہو اجڑا رہے
خاکداں تو کم سے کم آباد ہو
