سانس سینے میں جکڑ جاتا ہے
سانس سینے میں جکڑ جاتا ہے
اب تعلق جو بگڑ جاتا ہے
مدتوں ہو نہ ملاقات اگر
فاصلہ طول پکڑ جاتا ہے
جس کا رشتہ نہ زمیں سے قائم
وہ شجر جڑ سے اکھڑ جاتا ہے
کب میں آتا ہوں شکنجے میں بھلا
اک خیال اس کا جکڑ جاتا ہے
جہاں دیواروں میں در روتے ہوں
ایسا گھر جلد اجڑ جاتا ہے
مجھ میں آسیب بسا ہے صفدرؔ
جو بھی ملتا ہے بچھڑ جاتا ہے
