سمندر میں اتارا جا رہا تھا
مجھے دھوکے سے مارا جا رہا تھا
جہاں سے آج تک گزرا نہیں میں
اسی جانب دوبارہ جا رہا تھا
نوازش نام کی تھی درحقیقت
ہمیں سر سے اتارا جا رہا تھا
بنا تیرے وہ اک چھوٹا سا لمحہ
کہاں مجھ سے گزارا جا رہا تھا
یہی تھی سوکھے دریا کی کہانی
کہیں تنہا کنارہ جا رہا تھا
