سنبھل کے رہنا بڑا کٹھن ہے
نہ کچھ بھی کہنا بڑا کٹھن ہے
شفیق لہجوں کے تیز نشتر
ہنوز سہنا بڑا کٹھن ہے
کسی کنارے بغیر کشتی
ہوا سے بہنا بڑا کٹھن ہے
لباس بھاری پہ اونچا جوتا
گلوں کا گہنا بڑا کٹھن ہے
ہماری یادوں میں نازؔ اس کا
اداس رہنا بڑا کٹھن ہے
