سر پہ باندھا ہے یوں کفن اپنا

ہے پریشان گورکن اپنا
خشک پڑ ہی گیا یہ غنچۂ سبز
ٹھیکری ہو گیا دہن اپنا
دل میں اتری ہیں یوں تری یادیں
بھر گیا جگنوؤں سے بن اپنا
خار پھر جاتا ہے رگ و پے میں
یوں پتا دیتی ہے چبھن اپنا
اس قدر خاک اڑا نہ وحشت میں
صاف رکھ صاف پیرہن اپنا
