سر تا بہ قدم حاصل عنوان غزل ہو
تم میرے لیے مطلع دیوان غزل ہو
ہونٹوں کے تبسم سے چمن کھلتے ہیں لاکھوں
مجموعۂ فیضان گلستان غزل ہو
ہوتا ہے تمہیں دیکھ کے بیدار تخیل
شاعر کے لیے حاصل سامان غزل ہو
ہر ایک ادا مصرعۂ موزون غزل ہے
تم روح غزل فکر غزل جان غزل ہو
میں کیوں نہ امیرؔ ان کو کہوں کعبۂ ہستی
جب ان کا تصور مرا ایمان غزل ہو
