تال سوچیں نہ سمندر سوچیں
تال سوچیں نہ سمندر سوچیں
صرف اک موج منور سوچیں
شور بازار سے ہٹ کر بیٹھیں
اپنے اندر جو ہے محشر سوچیں
پس در نکلے حقارت کہ پسند
دستکیں دی ہیں تو کیوں کر سوچیں
ہم بھی ساکت ہیں جمود ان پر بھی
خود کو بت سمجھیں کہ آذر سوچیں
ہم کہاں اور کہاں چور قدم
شہہ کوئی پائیں تو کھل کر سوچیں
خوب ہے یہ بھی وطیرہ اعجازؔ
خشک ذہنوں میں رہیں تر سوچیں
