تمنائیں ٹھکانہ چاہتی ہیں
تمنائیں ٹھکانہ چاہتی ہیں
ترے پہلو میں آنا چاہتی ہیں
ذرا نزدیک آ کر بیٹھیے گا
یہ آنکھیں آب و دانہ چاہتی ہیں
بدن کے رنگ رخصت ہو رہے ہیں
مگر سانسیں نبھانا چاہتی ہیں
ہمیں پڑھنے کی چاہت اور کچھ ہے
کتابیں کچھ پڑھانا چاہتی ہیں
یہ دل وشواس کرنا چاہتا ہے
نگاہیں سچ بتانا چاہتی ہیں
