تیرے پہلو میں جی رہی تھی کبھی
زندگی میری زندگی تھی کبھی
بارشوں پر مری نہ جاؤ تم
آگ اندر کہیں لگی تھی کبھی
یاد کر کے میں ہنس رہی ہوں آج
میں بھی تیرے لیے دکھی تھی کبھی
وہ بھی دن تھے کہ میں یہی دنیا
تیری آنکھوں سے دیکھتی تھی کبھی
یاد ہوگا ابھی تلک تجھ کو
میں بھی تیری ہی زندگی تھی کبھی
مجھ کو قائل نہ کر دلیلوں سے
میں بھی تقدیر سے لڑی تھی کبھی
اب کبھی مڑ کے دیکھتی ہی نہیں
دل کی دہلیز پہ کھڑی تھی کبھی
