تیرگی روشنی سے شرمندہ
آدمی آدمی سے شرمندہ
آپ کیوں ہیں ابھی سے شرمندہ
سوچ کر ان کہی سے شرمندہ
ذکر احساں ہوا جو باتوں میں
میرا محسن مجھی سے شرمندہ
سبز پیڑوں کے بیچ اک پودا
بے ثمر بیکلی سے شرمندہ
ہوں سخی حاتموں کی بستی میں
اپنی بد قسمتی سے شرمندہ
میری ہستی چراغ کی بتی
اپنی کم مائیگی سے شرمندہ
دین مخلصؔ کو ہے مصورؔ کی
کیوں رہے وہ کسی سے شرمندہ
