tere KHayal se zara KHushi hui
tire ḳhayāl se zarā ḳhushī huī
udāsī thoḌī der multavī huī
daraḳht shab charāġh aur tīrgī
tumhāre baad sab se dostī huī
tire badan ko chhū rahī thiiñ uñgliyāñ
hatheliyoñ meñ tez raushnī huī
use lagā mujhe yaqīn ho gayā
vo ḳhush bahut hai jhuuT boltī huī
banā dī us ne chhū ke zindagī mirī
chalā dī us ne rail ik rukī huī
tere KHayal se zara KHushi hui
udasi thoDi der multawi hui
daraKHt shab charagh aur tirgi
tumhaare baad sab se dosti hui
tere badan ko chhu rahi thin ungliyan
hatheliyon mein tez raushni hui
use laga mujhe yaqin ho gaya
wo KHush bahut hai jhuT bolti hui
bana di us ne chhu ke zindagi meri
chala di us ne rail ek ruki hui
