kitnī āñkhoñ se ho ke guzrā vo
ik tamāsha jo sirf pal bhar thā
dil ke rishtoñ kī baat karte ho
ek shīsha thā ek patthar thā
uñgliyoñ ke nishān bol paḌe
kaun qātil thā kis kā ḳhanjar thā
ham usūloñ kī baat karte rahe
aur vo thā ki apnī zid par thā
