اس نے کبھی کچھ سوچا ہوگا
میں نے بھی کچھ سمجھا ہوگا
اپنا درد سنانے کو وہ
چھپ کے چاند کو ملتا ہوگا
اس کی آنکھ میں آنسو ہوں گے
میرا خط جب پڑھتا ہوگا
میں یہ سوچ کے چل پڑتا ہوں
رستے میں وہ بیٹھا ہوگا
اس کی یاد کا ہر پل احمدؔ
میرے اوپر سایا ہوگا
