وقت بے وقت دلبری کرنا
تم سے سیکھا ہے بس یہی کرنا
تیری آنکھوں تیرے چہرے کو
بھر کے آنکھوں میں روشنی کرنا
اس سے پوچھوں وفا کا جو مطلب
مجھ سے کہتا ہے شاعری کرنا
در بدر ہو کے چاند نے جانا
کیسا لگتا ہے چاندنی کرنا
کتنا مشکل ہے دیکھو جینے میں
سانس لینے کو زندگی کرنا
