وقت جب کروٹیں بدلتا ہے
وقت جب کروٹیں بدلتا ہے
فتنۂ حشر ساتھ چلتا ہے
موج غم سے ہی دل بہلتا ہے
یہ چراغ آندھیوں میں جلتا ہے
اس کو طوفاں ڈبو نہیں سکتا
جو کناروں سے بچ کے چلتا ہے
کس کو معلوم ہے جنون حیات
سایۂ آگہی میں پلتا ہے
ان کی محفل میں چل بہ ہوش تمام
کون گر کر یہاں سنبھلتا ہے
میں کروں کیوں نہ اس کی قدر انورؔ
دل کے سانچے میں اشک ڈھلتا ہے
