وقت کے ساتھ ساتھ چلنے سے
وقت کے ساتھ ساتھ چلنے سے
گھاؤ بھر جاتے ہیں سنبھلنے سے
ہے جو کچھ بھی ہے بس اسی پل میں
بعد کیا اس کے ہاتھ ملنے سے
حوصلوں سے جوان رہتے ہیں
کیا ہمیں عمر تیرے ڈھلنے سے
لوگ گرگٹ کے جیسے ہوتے ہیں
باز آتے نہیں بدلنے سے
رشک دریا میں پھینک دے آزیؔ
کب ملے ہے سکون جلنے سے
