وقت کی مہربانیاں ہیں بہت
فاصلے اب بھی درمیاں ہیں بہت
در و دیوار پر ہے ایک سکوت
آج گھر میں اداسیاں ہیں بہت
اور چہروں پہ تبصرہ بے سود
اپنے اندر بھی خامیاں ہیں بہت
آؤ پھر اک حسیں گناہ کریں
اپنے حصے میں نیکیاں ہیں بہت
ٹوٹ کر اس لئے صباؔ بکھرے
خشک پتوں میں آندھیاں ہیں بہت
