ye sach hai yā muġhālta hai mujhe
ek TuuTī huī imārat huuñ
āj-kal kaun dekhtā hai mujhe
maiñ yahāñ har shajar se vāqif huuñ
dasht muddat se jāntā hai mujhe
sach to boloñ magar salīqe se
roz ye mashvara milā hai mujhe
mere andar se koī chīḳhtā hai
aur maiñ chup huuñ kyā huā hai mujhe
maut ne ruuh bhar nikālī hai
fikr ne pahle khā liyā hai mujhe

main yahan har shajar se waqif hun

mere andar se koi chiKHta hai
aur main chup hun kya hua hai mujhe
maut ne ruh bhar nikali hai
fikr ne pahle kha liya hai mujhe
