    ho agar aap nigāh-e-karam

    be-hunar bā-kamāl ho jaa.eñ

    aao nikleñ anā ke ḳhol se ab

    rābte phir bahāl ho jaa.eñ

    hausla haar duuñ 'jalāl' agar

    kaam saare muhāl ho jaa.eñ

    wo agar ham-KHayal ho jaen

    KHatm sare malal ho jaen

    wo hon aamada-e-jawab agar

    hum sarapa sawal ho jaen

    shahr walon ka hai KHuda hafiz

    chor jab kotwal ho jaen

    hai judai KHuda ki ek neamat

    qurbaten jab wabaal ho jaen
