وہ بھی گمراہ ہو گیا ہوگا
میرا بد خواہ ہو گیا ہوگا
میرے حق میں جو بول اٹھا ہے
درد آگاہ ہو گیا ہوگا
سجدۂ شوق جو ادا نہ ہوا
سنگ درگاہ ہو گیا ہوگا
حادثے کی ہمیں خبر ہی نہیں
خیر ناگاہ ہو گیا ہوگا
واقعہ آپ تک نہیں پہنچا
نذر افواہ ہو گیا ہوگا
صورت حال دیکھ کر وہ بھی
تیرے ہم راہ ہو گیا ہوگا
وقت کے ساتھ ساتھ اس کا قد
اور کوتاہ ہو گیا ہوگا
اس برس بھی نہ آ سکا فرتاشؔ
وقف تنخواہ ہو گیا ہوگا
