اس میں ضرور ہے ترا پیکر چھپا ہوا
ڈر ہے کہ بہہ نہ جائے کہیں آنسوؤں کے ساتھ
اک عکس میری آنکھ کے اندر چھپا ہوا
کیا جانے کب ابل پڑے دھرتی کو چیر کر
زیر زمیں لہو کا سمندر چھپا ہوا
میں اس لیے بھی دوست بناتا ہوں کم سے کم
جانے کس آستیں میں ہو خنجر چھپا ہوا
سیراب کون اور یہاں تشنہ لب ہے کون
ہر آنکھ میں ہے دشت کا منظر چھپا ہوا
