magar phir bhī ġhazab vo Dhā rahā thā
surīlā is qadar lahja thā us kā
havā par giit likhtā jā rahā thā
mohabbat kī vo kuchh man-māniyāñ thiiñ
ki jis par chāñd bhī sharmā rahā thā
adā kuchh ḳhaas hī thī 'nāz' us meñ
muqābil husn ke itrā rahā thā
wo uljhe baal yun suljha raha tha

magar phir bhi ghazab wo Dha raha tha
surila is qadar lahja tha us ka
hawa par git likhta ja raha tha
mohabbat ki wo kuchh man-maniyan thin
ki jis par chand bhi sharma raha tha
ada kuchh KHas hi thi 'naz' us mein
muqabil husn ke itra raha tha
