کٹ گئے دن کسی بہانے سے
میں سراپا ہوا دھنک صورت
تیرے کچھ کچھ قریب آنے سے
گھر میں بھوچال آ گیا ہوتا
صرف دروازہ کھٹکھٹانے سے
اب تو اتنا ہی یاد آتا ہے
کوئی شکوہ سا تھا زمانے سے
کل بغیچہ ہی بن گیا نغمہ
ایک پنچھی کے چہچہانے سے
