vo āñdhiyāñ thiiñ ki saare hī sā.ebāñ TuuTe
fasīl-e-shahr kī Dālīñ jinhoñ ne buniyādeñ
vo haath dastakeñ dete hue yahāñ TuuTe
phir ek baar laḌā.ī thī apnī sūraj se
ham ā.īnoñ kī tarah phir yahāñ vahāñ TuuTe
hamāre mausam-e-dil ko nazar ye kis kī lagī
ye kin havāoñ meñ rishtoñ ke āshiyāñ TuuTe
na sirf ye ki gireñ un pe bijliyāñ sīdhī
talāsh-e-haq ke asīroñ pe āsmāñ TuuTe
yaqin ke baad ye dekha ki phir guman TuTe
wo aandhiyan thin ki sare hi saeban TuTe
fasil-e-shahr ki Dalin jinhon ne buniyaaden
wo hath dastaken dete hue yahan TuTe
phir ek bar laDai thi apni suraj se
hum aainon ki tarah phir yahan wahan TuTe
hamare mausam-e-dil ko nazar ye kis ki lagi
ye kin hawaon mein rishton ke aashiyan TuTe
na sirf ye ki giren un pe bijliyan sidhi
talash-e-haq ke asiron pe aasman TuTe
