ye haqiqat ki KHwab hai koi
ye haqīqat ki ḳhvāb hai koī
sāmne be-naqāb hai koī
hai tasavvur meñ husn-e-doshīza
yā purānī sharāb hai koī
zindagī qaid-e-ba-mashaqqat hai
is se baḌh kar azaab hai koī
bandagī meñ tirī kifāyat kyoñ
rahmatoñ kā hisāb hai koī
jis ko dekho 'raqīb' paḌhtā hai
jaise chehra kitāb hai koī
ye haqiqat ki KHwab hai koi
