یہ جانی پہچانی سوچیں
کتنی ہیں زہریلی سوچیں
اپنا تو ہے رب ہی محافظ
لیکن آپ تو اپنی سوچیں
شہروں کی سڑکوں پر چل کر
بدلی ہیں گاؤں کی سوچیں
وقت کے دریا میں بہہ کر بھی
دھل نہ سکیں یاروں کی سوچیں
پچھلی کو نہ بھولیں لیکن
کیسے کٹیں گی اگلی سوچیں
اوروں سے مل جائے فرصت
ساحلؔ ہم پھر اپنی سوچیں
