یہ منظر بے در و دیوار ہوتا
اگر میں خواب سے بیدار ہوتا
بہت آساں تھا اس کو یاد رکھنا
پر اگلا مرحلہ دشوار ہوتا
سفر کچھ اور بھی مشکل سے کٹتا
اگر یہ راستہ ہموار ہوتا
اگر یہ دائرہ تکمیل پاتا
جہان ثابت و سیار ہوتا
جو تیری آرزو مجھ کو نہ ہوتی
تو کوئی دوسرا آزار ہوتا
