hamāre kab iḳhtiyār meñ hai
tumhāre hāthoñ ko ab jo thāmeñ
chalo tumheñ yaad karke ro leñ
ham apnā dāman zarā bhigo leñ
tumhārī ḳhvāhish meñ jī rahe haiñ
so zahr-e-tanhā.ī pī rahe haiñ
ye zard patte ye sard mausam
kohar mein lipTi udas shamen
hamare kab iKHtiyar mein hai
tumhaare hathon ko ab jo thamen
chalo tumhein yaad karke ro len
hum apna daman zara bhigo len
tumhaari KHwahish mein ji rahe hain
so zahr-e-tanhai pi rahe hain
