زہر طرز بیان سے نکلا
دل کا کانٹا زبان سے نکلا
اس قدر حادثوں نے گھیرا مجھے
خوف وہم و گمان سے نکلا
جھلملا بھی نہیں سکے تارے
چاند جب آسمان سے نکلا
ٹوٹ کر دل نے چین پایا ہے
جانے کس امتحان سے نکلا
وہ تو آدم تھے خلد سے نکلے
اک فرشتہ گمان سے نکلا
آنکھ نم ہو گئی شکاری کی
تیر اک جب کمان سے نکلا
