تم اپنے رنگ زمانے کے منہ پہ مل جاؤ
تمہاری راکھ سے ابھرے کوئی نئی تصویر
اگر جلے ہو تو اچھی طرح سے جل جاؤ
دلی تمنا تھی میری کہ لڑکھڑا جاؤں
گرے ہوؤں میں کسی نے کہا سنبھل جاؤ
یہ شہر رات میں بہروپ دھار لیتا ہے
یہاں سے شام سے پہلے کہیں نکل جاؤ
