مجھ کو گردش میں سنبھالا ہوتا
مجھ کو گردش میں سنبھالا ہوتا
تو اگر چاہنے والا ہوتا
گانٹھ لیتا جو سیاسی رشتے
میرا رتبہ بھی نرالا ہوتا
آستینیں ہی بضد تھیں ورنہ
میں نے سانپوں کو نہ پالا ہوتا
تاجداروں کی تواریخ میں کیوں
ہم فقیروں کا حوالہ ہوتا
دھوپ محلوں نے گچا لی الھڑؔ
کیسے کٹیا میں اجالا ہوتا
