kis tarah us se jaan chhuḌā.ūñ maiñ kyā karūñ
mujh ko hai ye ḳhayāl hirāsāñ kiye hue
jaane kā naam hī nahīñ letā vo nek-baḳht
''muddat huī hai yaar ko mehmāñ kiye hue''
kis tarah us se jaan chhuDaun main kya karun
mujh ko hai ye KHayal hirasan kiye hue
jaane ka nam hi nahin leta wo nek-baKHt
muddat hui hai yar ko mehman kiye hue
